SIB Cycle

Our indoor group cycle classes are led by competent cycle instructors who will ensure you get a great workout. Everyone can benefit from our indoor cycle classes, whatever your fitness level or goal. Whether it is your first cycle class or you are a competitive cyclist we have a type of class that will suit you.
Your instructor will use music and motivation to encourage and energize you throughout the class. They will also guide you on technique and are can offer coaching advise.
By adjusting the resistance on the bike, you can simulate different types of terrain and you can control the intensity to suit your ability and fitness level.
All of the centers except SIB sentrum offer spinning classes, both in the morning and evening (see the timetable for specific times and type of class). We use Keiser indoor bicycles - an award-winning, performance orientated brand of indoor bikes. These bike are unique in using a magnetic resistance system and all have a computer so you can accurately track your power output (watts), cadence, heart rate (polar compatible), pedaling time, gear resistance (1 - 24) and trip distance.

SE: Spinn Endurance. The heart rate is kept between 65-75 % of HRmax. An easy class.
SS: Spinn Strength. A class with lots of hills, the heart rate is kept between 75-85 % of HRmax.
SI: Interval spining class.
The length of the class is referred to in the name of the class. For example; S45 is a 45 min class, S55 is a 55 min class (including warm-up and cool-down).
The 'colour' of the classe refers to the intensity / level of class. 'Blue' clases are beginner / intermediate classes and lower intensity. 'Red' classes are intermediate /advanced classes and are a higher intensity workout.
