Personal training

SiB now offers personal training (PT) at all of its centers. Personal training has become increasingly popular over the recent years, and studies have shown that customers who use PT are the most satisfied gym users; 70% of those who try PT continue to train with the help of a personal trainer.

 

What is personal training?

A personal trainer is a professional instructor who will help you achieve your health and fitness goals. Your personal trainer will work with you to design a customized exercise programme that fits your everyday schedule. During each training session your PT will be on hand to motivate and inspire you, as well as teaching you correct technique for each exercise and ensuring you are training at the correct intensity to get the results you are after. Your PT can work togther with our experts in SiB's sports performance laboratory to test your endurance fitness and plan an effecient and effective training programme based on scientific analysis of your test results. Your PT can also help with nutritional advice.

 

Why use personal training?

Whether your aim is to lose weight, tone-up, gain muscle mass, improve your strength, endurance or flexibility, our personal trainers are an excellent source of help. If you find it difficult to work out due to a busy schedule, all you need to do is show up, and the PT will help you through the rest and endeavour to make your work-out a fun experience.

 

Whatever your age, fitness level and previous training experience, we can guarantee the effectiveness of our PTs. Your PT will select the type of exercise and intensity that suits your needs. Training with a PT ensures that you learn correct exercise techniques from the start, so each workout will be more effective and your risk of injury greatly reduced. If you are more experienced you will benefit from learning new challenging exercises to incorporate into your programme, improving your technique, and working with your personal trainer to design an effective training programme. If you are training for a specific sport, our trainers can design a sport specific programme to help improve your performance.

 

Personal training at SiB

Our personal trainers are highly educated and competent professionals. We also have trainers that specialise in endurance/cardio, conditioning, strength training, injuries prevention and rehabilitation, scientific exercise planning and nutrition. All our PTs have excellent communication and motivation skills and are eager to help you achieve the results you are after. We offer one-one personal training and also small group sessions (4 people) if you would like to work-out with friends.

 

Prices

  • 1 hour: NOK 450
  • 10 sessions: NOK 4000 (400 pr hour)
  • 20 sessions: NOK 7600 (380 pr hour)
