Class descriptions

In order to make it easier for you to choose the right class, SiB uses a colour coding system which describes the type, level of difficulty and intensity of the class. The colour coding system is used in the printed time tables.

BLUE CLASSES: Cardio - easy to moderate intensity

H/L: Classical aerobics with jumps, basic choreography

Dance: Dance class, basic choreography

Svett: Classical aerobics without jumping, basic choreography

Step: Intermediate step class without jumping, basic choreography

Kick: Martial arts inspired class with kicks and punches. Beginners/ Intermediate

 

RED CLASSES: Cardio - moderate to high intensity

Boxing: Kicks and punches on punching pads. For everybody!

H/L: Classical aerobics with jumps, basic choreography

Intervall: Interval training with both cardiovascular and strengthening exercises

Kick: Martial arts inspired class using more advanced techniques. Intermediate/ beginners

Bkick: Martial arts and aerobic inspired class using a "Bkick" punch bag

Puls: Aerobics class with jumping, basic choreography

Step: Step class with jumping, basic choreography

Svett: Classical aerobics without jumping, basic choreography

YELLOW CLASSES: More Advanced Choreography

H/L: Dance aerobics with a mix of high and low impact movements

Step: Step aerobics with high intensity and some jumping

Svett: Aerobics class without jumping

Funk: Funk and hip hop choreography which includes some jumping

Dance: Dance class, advanced choreograpy

Streetdance: Dance class with combinations of different dance styles

PURPLE CLASSES: Body and mind classes - all levels

CC: Core control - a class with elements from Yoga and Pilates

Stretch: Stretching

Yoga: Ashtanga yoga

Pilates: Strength, stretching and relaxation

GREY CLASSES: Strength classes - all levels

Basistrening: Strength class with a focus on the areas stomach, lower back and hips. Can be recomended for athletes

EP: Eleikopump. Intermediate strength class using adjustable weight bars

MR30: (mage/rygg). Abdominal and back exercises

ST: strength exercises using own body and different equipment

MAGENTA CLASSES: COURSES AND THEMED CLASSES

Magedans: oriental dance, beginners and intermediate course
