Dart
Next to the pool table in the common room there is at dart game.

Entrance doors
The door to the common room is locked at 16.00. All entrance doors are locked at 18.00.

Film
We show film in the common area in the building C. Time and date will be announced in the post-room.

Football
We show football on a big screen in the common area in building C. Date and time will be announce by posters in the post room.

Fotball (Board game)

This popular board game is to be found in the reception area in the C-block. It`s free!

Garbage
All garbage is to be thrown in the containers outside. You will be fined 300 NOK if you throw it outside the containers.

Gymnasium
The gymnasium is located in the cellar in the C-block. You have to buy a semester card in the Lemkuhlhall to get accesses. Bring the receipt to the caretaker, and she will give you access to the gymnasium.

Internet
All tenants (who is a member of SiB) living at Hatleberg has free access to internet. Please contact the net workgroup for information and help. They are located at the Service office in the common room in the C-clock You can also call them on 416 20 488. You need a user name and password from your school and a network card in your PC to connect to the internet.

Laundry
The laundry is located in the cellar.

Moving out
Please contact the housekeeper to make an appointment for the moving out check. Send an e-mail: renhold.hatleberg@sib.no

Pool table
There is a pool table in the common room in building C. It costs 5 Kr. per game

Reading room
The reading room is located next to the common room in the C-block.
Opening hours:
• Monday – Friday  08.00 – 22.00
• Saturday   10.00 – 18.00
• Sunday   10.00 – 22.00

Resident Assistant

The Resident Assistants main goal is to inform new tenants about the Student hostel. They will hold information meetings on a frequently basis.

You will find us at the Service office Wednesdays and Sundays between 18.00 and 19.00.
We work from August until the end of May.

Service Office
The Service office is located in the common room in the C-block. In the service office you will find the TU, Resident Assistant and members of the network group. We are open every day between 18.00 – 19.00, except Saturdays.

Sewing machine
You can borrow a sewing machine at the Service office

Smoking
From 1st of August 2007, it is not allowed to smoke in any of SiB`s student hostels. We refer our smoking tenants to smoking facilities outside the student hostel.

Storage room
All rooms have access to a storage room. Do not place valuables in the storage room, and keep it locked. Entrance A, B, C, D and E can use their room key to get into the storage room. In the F-block the storage room is in the room. Please put your name on you things, and remember that you are responsible for your things stored in the storage room.
All tenants at Øyjordsveien have their own storage room.

Table tennis
There is table tennis in the common area in building C. This is free to use.

Telephone booth
You will find telephone booths outside the C-block, and in the F-block.

The Tenant Union
The Tenant Union (TU) is the highest organ of speech when it comes to Student democracy at the student hostels in Bergen. The TU at Hatleberg and Øyjorden student hostel consists of elected members, all of them living in the hostel. The TU has a duty to propose, initiate and take part in measures designed to provide a good residential environment within their Housing Estate.
You may find the TU in the Service office in the reception area at Hatleberg (C-block). In collaboration with the Resident assistants and the Network, we are operating a lease club (see above). In addition, we are frequently showing movies and soccer matches on the big screen.

Service Office
The Service office is located in the common room in the C-block. In the service office you may get in touch with the TU, Resident Assistants and the network group. The office is open every day between 6p.m. and 7p.m. (except Saturday).
During these opening hours, you may rent Nintendo Wii and Playstation (consoles and games), board games etc. Membership in the lease club is only 100 NOK per semester/term. Hope to see you!
