Where do I pick up the keys to my room?

The keys must be picked up at the Student Centre at Parkveien 1. The Reception is located by the main entrance on the ground floor.

How do I get to the Student Centre?
Airplane
The airport bus goes directly to the busstation/Bergen Storsenter. The trip takes approximatly 30 minutes. At the bus station you will find deposit boxes if you wish to deposit your luggage while collecting the keys. They come in 2 different sizes. Payment by coins only.

Below you will find a map showing you which way to go to the Student Centre. The walk takes approximately 10 minutes.

Train
The train station is located next to the bus station. If you wish to deposit your luggage we recommend the bus station (see above). Also, follow the directions below in order to get to the Student Centre by foot.

Car
Unfortunately the parking facilities at the Student Centre are poor. We recommend that you park your car either at Grieghallen or at the busstation/Bergen Storsenter.

At the Reception
At certain periods the waiting time may be long. Feel free to visit the café on the 3rd floor, or the bookshop, Studia, next to the Reception.To avoid queues you will only receive the keys and laundry card at the Reception. Information meetings for residents at Fantoft or Hatleberg
The Residential Assistants will hold several information meetings for the new students during the beginning of each semester. You may also contact them by e-mail.
