Cleaning instructions for room/apartment

Kitchen

The cupboard must be emptied and cleaned. All personal belongings must be removed. Remember to remove all your food from the fridge and freezer and clean it.

Bathroom

Take down the shower curtain, wash it at 40 degrees and hang it up again. Toilet and sink must be cleaned thoroughly outside and inside, also pipes under the sink. Shelf, lamp and walls must be washed. The shower walls must be washed thoroughly. Then wash the floor.

Living room and entrance

Woodwork, shelves, lamps and walls must be cleaned. Sofa and chairs must be vacuum cleaned. Remember to clean underneath the sofa. Windows should be cleaned on both sides, also the window frame. The cover on the mattress must be washed at 60 degrees. Remember to wash the floor and skirting boards.  Organize furniture and lamps neatly in the room.  Remove garbage and clear the storage room.

If there are any defects in your room, please send a damage report  before leaving.

Please send  an e-mail to make an appointment to check your room renhold.hatleberg@sib.no  and the check of room has to be on the day you hand in the keys. The keys must be handed in by 12 pm the day your lease expires. The keys must be handed in at the reception at the Student Centre. 

Remember to give your new address to the post office.

If the room is not cleaned according to the instructions, a cleaning fee will be taken from your deposit.
